Below is a link to a history of Lea County’s average weekly wage across all industries, reported quarterly in the state’s Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, a publication that contains quarterly employment and wage data for workers covered by New Mexico Unemployment Insurance (UI) laws, which is roughly 97 percent of all non-agricultural workers.
Wages represent the gross amount of all payrolls for all pay periods paid within the quarter, regardless of the timing of the services performed. Commissions, bonuses and overtime pay are included.
